Portrait of a Nation
Following service industry workers and union leaders across one of the most prolific striking periods in the history of industrial action in the United Kingdom. Unlike other periods of industrial action, 2022-2023 saw working people across diverse facets of industry go on strike. The project explores the lived experiences of industry members faced with the prospect of striking. Highlighting individual accounts of strikes, it seeks to both highlight and question the position of working people in today's Britain. Thank you to everyone who took the time to get involved in this piece of work.
